Gardening
At NRM Dream International School, Knowing the value of agriculture we have introduced gardening as one of the co-curricular activities to all our dreamers. We have earmarked five cents of agricultural land to each class at our farm land. Under the guidance of teachers and agriculturalists, they can choose the crop in their fields with all the requirements fulfilled by the Management. Dreamers grow vegetables like Ridge gourd, Ladies finger, Brinjal, Cluster beans etc. which are utilized in our school dining. Our students learn the skills of agriculture like land preparation, sowing, watering, manuring, weeding, pest control and finally harvesting in an organic way. They have the pride of cultivating their own veggies. Our children love digging soil, getting their hands dirty and watching the plants grow. No chemical fertilizers or pesticides are used. Dream Garden is organically nourished.
Photography
To provide an opportunity to the students to communicate their ideas, thoughts and feelings, we have photography as our co-curricular activity. Photography teaches students to appreciate the environment and nature. It brings them close to our culture. The skills of photography like angles, views, editing etc. are taught to the students by a trained tutor.
Art and Craft
Art and Craft classes form a regular activity in the school timetable. Drawing, Painting and Crafting in art classes not only kindle students’ creativity, but also help to develop their visual- spatial skills. As they persevere through arts, their focus is imperative. The skills they learn because of arts spill over into their academic achievement.
Yoga
Yoga improves students’ memory and attention span, enhances their flexibility, balance and posture and develops their physical appearance.Knowing the value of Yoga, NRM Dream International School hosts weekly yoga classes for the students. A qualified yoga trainer demonstrates and guides the students through a series of asanas in a safe and understandable way.
Music
Everyone enjoys music, whether by listening to it , singing or playing an instrument. Music is not only an enjoyable subject, but a divine subject that can relax the students’ mind and help them to focus on their studies.It helps to develop language and provides a mastery of memorization. Our music teacher understands the potential of every student and guides them according to their skills.
